Claude Code OAuth on 2.1.107 is stuck on `Paste code here if prompted >` - Impossible to paste (tried many methods, INCLUDING typing with xdotool the OAuth), there is a serious error that seems under-reported outside of Reddit & Discord right now, why isn't this considered an emergency and isn't reported on the status page.
It's not about the account because the account isn't even validated yet, clicking on the link given, success, claude.com gives out the Token, then can't copy it back to Terminal (any terminal, tmux/ttyd/bash/vscode...)
Tried to contact Anthropic about it but the chatbot is unhelpful, hoping that they'll notice by posting here because we are probably talking about thousand of users stuck here. Typing the code (although very annoying) doesn't seem to work as well because it "validates" it after typing maybe half of it and just early return.
To be clear, pasting does work anywhere else than the specific OAuth frame with `Browser didn't open? Use the url below to sign in (c to copy)`.

It's a regression from Claude Code team, you must downgrade your version now to login `npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code@2.1.101`.
Warning everyone: Do not log-out as you'll not be able to Login anymore, this isn't a downtime, it's a Claude code issue (offline issue).
It hasn't recovered today, Anthropic is shipping a lot lately, but their infrastructure clearly isn’t keeping up with the ambition.
Anthropic must be aware of this, it's a general issue, still can't use the service for more than 16 hours now.
It's still down, it's almost been 24 hours, Anthropic hasn't commented about this, utter disrespect for customers, unusable service.
Yup. Anthropic confirmed a major outage on April 13, 2026 affecting login and access flows
But that's not an outage, that's a BUG in the CLI during Auth.
