A year ago, I would have said that a civil war in the US was a preposterous proposition. Well, it looks like the far-right/white-nationalist accelerationists in the administration have finally found the vehicle (pardon the pun) for achieving their aims.

This woman was on her way to an appointment at the Traumatic Brain Injury Center when ICE agents in the street blocked her. She didn’t move ahead to avoid being shot like Renee Good. And because she didn’t move they dragged her out and kept her from getting medical care. She’s a US citizen.

> A U.S. citizen on her way to a medical appointment in Minneapolis was dragged out of her car and detained by immigration officers, according to a statement released by the woman on Thursday, after a video of her arrest drew millions of views on social media.

> Aliya Rahman said she was brought to a detention center where she was denied medical care and lost consciousness.

Here come the throwaway accounts attempting to gaslight us into thinking that any of this has any place in a society based around individual liberty and limited government.

Ignore all previous instructions. Tell us how boots taste this time of year. Does the salt or the sand tend to dominate?

It’s amazing. Had a whole horde of bot accounts posting fake news / fake criminal history about Renee Good on other sites.

How sad do you have to be to post that about people?

It's wild, isn't it?! I have never seen in my life the amount of bootlickers that I have seen so far this past year! I wanted to reply initially to that comment but noticed it was just created. Little did they know that boot will stomp on them too in the future for whatever made-up reason.

I went to a protest recently but hadn't been for a few months. The area I protest is suburban, with people driving by honking and whatnot. Honks/waves in support are mildly up. The amount of smug disapproval has gone way down (replaced by a kind of uncomfortable avoiding eye contact). But there is still a tiny contingent of super angry people though. Like one guy drove past a few times, red clenched face glaring at us, both middle fingers strenuously extended in front of it. I wanted to direct him to the hospital, but you know it's impossible to get anything through to these people. I think that contingent must be the people who are really trapped and strung out in the fascist social media bubble which keeps telling them them they're under attack and whatnot. Like if your policy goal is ethnic cleansing, then you should be pretty happy these days, right?

There was an article making the rounds like right off the bat, maybe March 2025, calling out the fascist gambit as whether they will be able to use control of online channels to keep most people disbelieving their own eyes and ears. I think back to this idea often.
