Your favorites etc. Budget is around 100$ for both.

I'll start off by saying that I hate mechanical keyboards with a passion. That said, Logitech MX keys - silent(huge deal for me), short travel space also sturdy, sets you back around 80 bucks. Mouse - Logitech G205 if you wanna stick to the 100 bucks budget with a wired mouse or G305 if you are willing to throw in an extra 10: Light, comfortable, snappy, can sensitivity can be adjusted at the press of a button, incredible battery life.

      I hate the long travel distance and I hate noisy keyboards and they are uncomfortable af. They feel and sound like an old soviet typewriter like the ones my grandfather used to have.

I bought a bluetooth pebble keyboard and mouse recently.

I initially bought the pebble keyboard as I had bought two replacement keyboards for my old T450 and the spacebar did not work on either one, even though i got them from two different outlets. cost £50 for the two keyboards.

The pebble keyboard sits nicely on top of the failed keyboard and works perfectly for my needs.

I then bought the pebble mouse to complement the keyboard.

What I found great about them is that they can be set up to work on three different devices,

They both have three settings for three different devices, I use one for my gaming/pentesting rig, one for my media server and one for my old T450.

no more clunky wired gaming keyboards or mice and no more tedious wireless keyboards or mice with batteries running out or simple failing after a year.

I now have just one keyboard and mouse for all three devices

Logitech MX Keys S and MX Master 3S all the way. the only problem i have the rubber on the MX Master 3S. if they make a hard surface one. i'll ditch mine in seconds.

I see a number of recommendations for Logitech mice, FWIW I got a MX Master 3S because I once had a MX Revolution that I loved.

Well, I hated it and returned it. The polling speed was awful, Bluetooth connectivity laggy, no built in settings memory, it doesn't scroll correctly with anything Apple out of the box, and there's no mobile apps for it if you want to expand beyond desktop operating systems.

I ended up sticking with what I already have, but if I were to go and buy something today it would be a Razer Basilisk V3 Pro or a Magic Trackpad.

I use both Logitech mechanical keyboard and a super light mouse. It’s most around $200 but it’s lasted me five years so far. Battery seems good, and it’s comfortable to type.

I think a used condition Keychron (e.g. Lemokey P1 + M3 Mouse) could tighly fit your budget.

I would probably split the devices (2 receivers/usb), raise the budget a bit and get a wobkey crush 80 re, an Evoworks Evo 80 or if you prefer low profile, a lofree flow or logitech G515 tactile in used condition together with a cheap cable logitech G-series mouse

This would blow up your budget, but: Logitech Superlight is fantastic. No noticeable latency, battery lasts a while if you turn down the polling rate, charges with USB-C, and... very light.

The main downside is it doesn't have a dual-mode scroll wheel, and no buttons beyond the basic 5.

My favorite external keyboard is the Magic Keyboard, after comparing with Mx Keys over the years... I also like mechanical keyboards (testing the Lofree lite) but can notice how they hurt my wrists after a few weeks.

    Not necessarily. Any wireless keyboard/mouse that’s easy to maintain and has a good feel. I code for work so I plan to use them heavily
