> An interesting hypothesis emerged from the studies about the possible use of a ketogenic diet as a combination therapy along with chemotherapy (CT) and radiotherapy (RT) for the treatment of cancer. Currently, however, clinical data are still very limited but encouraging, so we need further studies to definitively validate or disprove the role of KD in fighting against cancer.

Awkward phrasing like they were fighting in editing

author 1: Our hypothesis is interesting!

author 2: But data is limited.

author 1: But encouraging!

author 2: But can't prove or disprove.

Replace author 2 by reviewer 2 and this is probably what happened.

I don’t get it. If you want a keto diet for the body you go fasting and when the glucose is used up you have your ketogenic diet. After the one week kickstarter fast you eat once a day and nothing once a week and you are ketogenic most of the time. And don’t eat anything that comes in a package or has a barcode.
